Information
For quality assurance MACMA works exclusively together with accredited companies like SGS, Intertek and Bureau Veritas. These testing institutes are testing the goods on EU regulations or specific customers’ requirements.
MACMA is only importing goods complying with up to date EU regulations and standards. Thus all items which encounter food are tested on LFGB and all electronic items are tested on ROHS. Toys are produced and marked according to the new toy regulation 2009/48/EG. If necessary, goods are tested on CE and EN71 Part 1-3. If further regulations are affected, goods are also tested in this regard.
MACMA has an internal radiation representative, who is additionally testing electronic items on ROHS capability for assuring that these are produced in accordance with the ROHS regulation.
The staff members gain further qualification and keep thus informed, which regulations apply on the goods.
Furthermore, the goods can be controlled before shipment from Far East by an independent service provider. This possibility is mostly used for special orders. Such quality controls are effected according to the standard regulations DIN400/80 ISO 2859, if no other specification from the customer is on hand. These quality controls allow complaints about possible defects to be posed directly to the manufacturer and the goods can be corrected if applicable.
